Fabulous hotel. Not far from the city centre but not walkable.
Stylish rooms and had everything you could need for comfort.
Bonus laundry in our one bedroom apartment, separate bedroom and living area, and a balcony.
We had a great sleep, fantastic blackout curtains, and a super comfy bed. We actually slept in!
The bed was so comfortable we've actually ordered the same mattress.
Definitely recommend staying here.
I recently stayed here. From check-in to check-out I have one word for Deco Hotel...faultless. I booked a 2 bedroom apartment. Spacious and clean with amenities to match and light rail right out front. At all times the team at Deco Hotel were attentive and it didn't matter who was making my cappuccino in the morning it was delicious - and I'm quite fussy with my morning coffee. I have nothing but high praise for everyone working at Deco and I will stay here again when in Canberra.
We really loved our stay at Deco Hotel! The rooms are incredibly clean and thoughtfully designed. The buffet breakfast is extremely good quality and value for money. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because we ordered room service and the meals were TINY. They were very expensive - I paid $50 for a tiny little steak and a small pile of rocket. That was extremely disappointing and I was still very hungry after eating it. That was really poor.
Aside from the room service, we loved everything else about our stay and would happily return again.
Had a fantastic long weekend in a 2 bedroom suite with my family of four. The rooms were luxurious and had beautiful fittings. Thoughtful touches such as robes, slippers, extra pillows and personal toiletries were also available. The beds were very comfortable and the entire apartment was really well cleaned on check in. We tried the onsite restaurant for buffet breakfast and it didn't disappoint - the servers were so friendly and offered us additional items and options cooked to our preferences. We are dinner there one night and again the food was delicious and the staff were very attentive to each guest. I would come back to Canberra just to enjoy this hotel again, thanks to the team there who made our stay so enjoyable.
Great vibe. Well appointed. Classy but simple decor. Engaging staff. Special shout out to Reddy in the restaurant. She looked after us so well. Our second stay is coming up as we didn't consider staying anywhere else after our first visit. Highly recommended and great pricing.
The room I stayed in was spacious, and the bathroom seemed to be newly renovated. The carpet was in bad shape, it is old and full of stains, the Air-conditioner occasionally makes a weird gurgling sound, the wall could also do with a new layer of paint. The hotel appears to use Latex? pillows, something to keep in mind if like me you find them uncomfortable.
Good location, easy access from the road, plenty of undercover parking at extra cost, modern deco in general pubic area. Room is very comfortable , very comfortable bed, great shower. Gym is located in basement, good enough equipments but some are not maintained properly due to broken components.
It’s a very lovely hotel, for the price we paid however I expected a few more things. I paid extra for the fold out bed but it had no doona or pillow, when I requested one it was provided but no pillow case or doona cover. Air con didn’t really work. Great amount of space and facilities but not totally worth the price
